Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation Hosts 7th Annual Racing to Recovery Golf Tournament & Welcome Reception in Las Vegas
Annual event raises $190,000 to support medical research to find a cure for paralysis
The Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation (SSPF) hosted its 7th annual Racing to Recovery Golf Tournament and Welcome Reception on October 28 & 29 in Las Vegas, where it was able to raise $190,000 to support medical research to find a cure for paralysis.
The tournament featured a Scramble Format and players were treated to a day of golf and a post-round cocktail reception and award ceremony, all to raise money for the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation. In addition, SSPF hosted a Welcome Reception at Mob Attraction Las Vegas inside the Tropicana Hotel the night before the tournament. During the evening, guests were able to experience a fun and interactive look into the world of organized crime with authentic mob characters and never-before-seen artifacts. The reception also featured a live and a silent auction featuring unique items from the racing community.
